Who we are & where we came from
Spirited, fun-loving with dynamic personalities, The Mintbox team really knows how to be the life of the party. Husband and wife duo, Julie and Lenny Rosenthal, along with Denise Mayne, best friend and integral team player, spend their days creating treats that are revitalizing countless celebrations worldwide.
How did it all get started? When Julie and Lenny's son, Aaron, was preparing for his Bar Mitzvah, his parents were preparing for the celebration. Julie in particular looked high and low for a unique, personal and useful gift for their guests. Coming up empty handed, she took matters into her own hands and created Aaron's very own BarMintsVahs™ … an instant house-hold party accessory and a hit among her friends and family.
Fast forward to the present, and the split-second MazelMint creation is now a successful global business on its way to reaching production of well over a million pieces annually and still growing!
Pet Treats is just another avenue we have added to our map. It fits perfectly since not only is it important to member our kids events, our dog pets are just as important. It started with a mint but there is no end in site!

Julie Rosenthal
Partner, Inventor, Entrepreneur, Creative Mind, Wife, Mother, Jewelry Designer…
Her drive and determination -- underlined by her creativity to bring unmatched perfection to every situation -- is the backbone to the company's success. Julie is a trained artist, who graduated from the Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore with a BFA in Jewelry Design. For 20 years she created custom pieces as a goldsmith / jewelry designer. Always an entrepreneur, Julie took her passion and know-how to start her own successful jewelry store. When inspiration struck, and the MintBox was invented, she found the perfect expression of all her skills - creating custom designs in an entrepreneurial environment - and she was able to do it with her husband and dear friend! Ask her, she'll tell you, "it's a dream come true."
Lenny Rosenthal
Partner, Creative Director, Strategic Marketer, Husband, Father, Official Candy Tester…
Lenny is the visionary who has guided The MintBox from its first design. His out-of-the-box seasoned creative skills were honed at the region's leading advertising agencies where he's held various senior positions over the last 25 years. Lenny sees…and develops…the "big picture." He manages the marketing, advertising, promotional and R&D disciplines. And it doesn't stop there…we're not saying that Lenny has a fresh mouth, but he is also in charge of selecting the treats that fill the MintBox. Now, that's a sweet job!
Denise Mayne
Partner, Customer Advocate, Friend, Wife, Mother, Organizer Extraordinaire…
Denise, the resident hostess-with-the-mostess, has been part of the MintBox team since the very beginning. From her role as an R&D expert ensuring that the MintBox provides customers with only the best quality goodies, to overseeing that each and every order arrives on time and with a smile, Denise is enthusiastically committed to finding the perfect gift for every event. Bottom line: Denise makes sure everything is in mint condition before it leaves for the party.
